- Ecological sustainabilityConsidering Thulusdhoo is a tiny, remote, island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, freshwater is a valuable resource, one that we should all respect. At Kudhi Boli Beach House, we operate an ecologically responsible program. We ask our guests to: Reuse towels whenever possible Request new linen when required (beds are made daily) Not waste water - by turning off taps when not in use Keep doors and windows closed when using the air conditioning Dispose of waste in appropriate containers for recycling These actions will help us reduce our impact on the environment and on-going global concerns.
- Seasons of the MaldivesThe Nakaiy calendar consists of two seasons: Iruvai - the north-east monsoon. The Iruvai season is excellent for diving, fishing and paddleboarding where the waters are often calmer and clearer, running from December to April Hulhangu - the south-west monsoon. The Hulhungu season brings ideal waves for surfers on Thulusdhoo, running roughly from April to December. Year-round temperature in the Maldives rarely falls below 25C, most often settling around 30C Being on the equator; Maldivian days consist of roughly 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness all year round, we advise appropriate sun protection We can guarantee everything, except the weather!
